There is a review of biological collections being carried out in the West Midlands over 2013-15. The aim is to visit museums with biological collections of any size, documenting the collection and offering practical advice and assistance. Biological material includes  bones, shells, taxidermy, skins, spirit collections in jars, pressed plants and pinned insects.

Please get in touch with Luanne Meehitiya, Curator of Natural Sciences at Birmingham Museums Trust on 0121 202 2251 or email luannemeehitiya@thinktank.ac to get involved.
