Fundraiser required Hartlebury castle

In August 2012, a mutually acceptable asking price was agreed between the Hartlebury Castle Preservation Trust (HCPT) and the Church Commissioners, with an intended purchase completion date in 2014.

We have submitted a revised first round HLF funding application and will hear if we have been successful at the end of March 2013. If we are successful we will need to secure a minimum of £250,000 as part of our match funding requirements for delivery costs. We intend to appoint fundraisers to support this process.

Our timetable is to submit our second round HLF Bid in December 2013, with matched funding in place by April 2014, inline with the HLF notification of second round grant award.

If you are interested in working with HCPT in 2013, with appointment in April/May please submit a short expression of interest and CV. Deadline 1 March 2013.

The Critical & Historical Studies Programme at the Royal College of Art and the British Postal Museum and Archive in London (BPMA) seek to appoint a student to undertake a PhD by thesis on the History and Development of the London Postal Map.
