We are very lucky to have the Andrea Nicholas, Director of the Green Tourism Business Scheme arriving from Perth, to introduce the scheme, show how it has improved business for many cultural institutions and to guide us through establishing your environmental / energy efficiency programme.
Roger Matthews from Transition Stratford, will show how local, small scale and commnity led interventions in energy, food and recycling can have both positive economic and social impacts – a great opporutnity for local museums.
Rob Clarke, the MDO from Leicestershire, introduces the Museum step by step guide, devised with Groundwork, which is being used successfully by museums to monitor their budgets, carbon footprints and to move sensibly towards a more sustainable future.
